About Kathleen…

Kathleen is a native New Yorker and has called Central New York her home for most of her life. Kathleen graduated from the State University of New York at Albany (B.A.) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. 1985). Since graduating from law school, Kathleen has concentrated her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration and litigation, elder law, asset protection and Medicaid planning, planning for individuals with disabilities and guardianship law.

 Kathleen is admitted to practice law in New York and Florida. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association (including both the Trusts and Estates Law Section and the Elder Law Section), the Florida Bar, the Estate Planning Council of Central New York, Onondaga County Bar Association and Madison County Bar Association. Kathleen has made presentations on the topics of estate planning and administration, asset preservation planning and guardianships for the New York State Bar Association and the Onondaga County Bar Association.

Since 2007, Kathleen has served as a panel member for the New York State Surrogate Decision Making Committee assisting disabled individuals in making decisions regarding medical treatment.

In her free time, Kathleen enjoys cycling, camping, hiking, kayaking, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
